Flying

Today is my first day to fly, for real. Years ago I tried an actobatic glider trip which was great fun but I was just a passenger. Last week I was taken up in an AT6, a beautiful world war two plane, and the pilot allowed me to take the plan through a loop, a roll and a loop role combo. She then showed me a four leaf clover and my stomach decided that was enough.

Today I did an "Intro to flight" and the instructor allowed me to fly most of the time. It was fabulous. It is exactly what my dreams have played for me over and over again. One day I will be able to afford the whole training.
